Java Sri Lanka Joined with Edex to Organize a Grand Exhibition in Sri Lanka
The most popular Educational and Career Exhibition organizers in Sri Lanka, the "EDEX" joined hands with the pioneering Java Software Exhibition organizers in Sri Lanka, the "Java Sri Lanka" yesterday. Under this agreement, Java Sri Lanka agreed to introduce a new segment of visitors to the EDEX exhibition. The Sri Lankan business community who are expecting to computerize and automate their businesses with a software solution will be the new segment of visitors to the EDEX Exhibition. The exhibition will be held in January 15th 16th 17th 2010 at BMICH and 19th and 20th at the Kandy City Centre. Software solutions suitable for all categories of businesses which are especially developed to increase the profitability and the productivity of the businesses are available to be purchased at the exhibition from Rs.5000/= upwards. All the software solutions available at the exhibition are developed by PCJT qualified young Professionals by analyzing real time business requirements to improve the business processes of any business. PCJT stands for Professional Certificate in Java Technology and this qualification is offered by the Chamber of Chartered Java Professionals International. At this exhibition, visitors will be benefited also through the awareness on the advantages of PCJT Qualification and understanding on the availability in Sri Lanka to become a PCJT qualified Professional withing one year of training. Also the PCJT qualification is recognized as a part of Bachelor's Science Degree in Java Technology by the Open International University of Netherlands. IJTS (Institute of Java and Technological Studies) will be the Principal sponsor for this grand event. Software Competition
There will be a special pavilion at the Banquet Hall of the BMICH for the exclusive top rated softwares. Only a selected number of softwares will be entitled for getting free stalls to display their products. The selection criteria consider not only the quality of the products, but also consider the following as well.
- These softwares should be developed as a group project.
- All the IJTS students can Participate as group members and the Top 50 projects will get a Free Stalls worth 40, 000 SLR. Closing date of this Competition is 22nd December 2008.
